Oh Desiree, what an incredible birth story.. I have watched your pregnancy go by with such joy and interest and to read about the birth was so special. Thank you sharing it. There is no doubt that you're a brave and inspiring woman - I only hope my future pregnancies, births, entrance to motherhood is as blissful and thoughtful as yours. Blessings to you and your little family my friend!
wow that story gave me every hairy detail I always wondered about, lol. I just found out about the whole pooping thing being common a few months ago and freaked out about it... I know it's all worth it in the end but I just find it amusing all these "minor" details people seem to leave out about it, lol. But anyway that was a very nice/interesting story to read, Gretchen is a lucky little girl to have such loving parents :)
I cannot really recall how I ended up reading your blog. I just wanted to say, your birth story was truly inspiring! I've toyed with the idea of a homebirth, leaving all that hospital hullabaloo behind. Your experience was exactly what I needed to read. Granted, I'm not actually going to be having a baby as soon as I had thought. It's a nice note for the future. Thank you for sharing.
P.S. Your daughter and family are beautiful. Congratulations <3
