Last night Gretchen & I lay down for a nap around 7pm and woke up at 11pm. I thought I'd never get her back to sleep -- silly mama, taking a nap at such a bizarre hour. However, I managed to nurse her down at about midnight & after I joined her in bed again we stayed there til 8am this morning.
I am so rested!

I think this is the first night that I have caught up on sleep since the night before I gave birth. My body feels fantastic & Gretchen is incredibly cheerful this morning! It's a win-win situation.

This afternoon we are going to go up to the zoo to see the otters (!!!) with a friend of ours and her daughter. I'm crossing my fingers that all of the animals will be out romping in the sun.
