The Fawn Belongs On The Trails

Yesterday I went riding with my mother. It was the first time I'd been on a horse since my 21st birthday & it was fantastic.

I really need to do this more often.

...

It was also my first time being away from Gretchen for more than an hour. We both survived.

so beautiful... I have always found horses and the idea of horse riding a very graceful and beautiful thing; but my two experiences of it were shocking (falling off, and having a horse unexpectedly break into canter) that I've been a bit wary... but I was gladly watch you! Your shots have such an ethereal quality to them.

Oh I miss riding so very much! With two little ones I haven't had a chance in quite some time.

Beautiful photos!

I remember that feeling of being away from Cole for the first time....it's really strange and I didn't like it at all! As for your horse ride- it really looked magical. Like you were in an enchanted forrest or something! I want to do that!

Oh that's brilliant! I'd love to go riding - I haven't yet (despite meaning to for ages!)

I suggest you all get out there on the trails! It's a lovely way to spend a couple hours & you'll feel oh so rejuvenated ^_^
