A Walking We Will Go

One of my favourite things to do with the babe is to go for a walk downtown. Thankfully the snow started to melt today & it wasn't quite as frigid, so we returned a movie (aka season seven of Friends), went for a latte & traversed the downtown for a couple of hours.

I carried Gretchen in the sling, of course, and decided to take a few photos with my phone as we wandered.

The first photo is by our public library and the rest were taken as I walked down our street on my way home.

City Hall is on the right.

The park with the cenotaph.

One of the many huge churches near the downtown area.

That red building on the corner is the Red Cross office where I volunteer.

I love documenting my home town. I promise more of this in the near future.

What a rare and beautiful insight into your part of the world. It is so foreign to my eyes; and yet I feel such a fondness for the rickety fences, the snow beside the footpath and the wide roads...

Well thank you so much for joining me on that little walk ^_^ It's nice to see my side of the world through someone else's eyes sometimes.

Pretty photos :)

Yay for the library! I love seeing other peoples libraries around the world.

Sometime I will take photos inside the library too -- it's really nice in there!
