Happy Thursday afternoon, mes amis!
As promised, I've got a little giveaway for you today. My recent foray into the world of fabric & thread has produced a sweet little dress which (mistakenly) does not fit my little one.
However, my loss shall be your gain! This pinwheel pinafore should be about the right size for a little madame, aged 0-6 months, give or take -- and I'd like to send it off to one of my readers!
Whether you have a little one, or would like to gift it to a friend, I'll be happy as long as it's being worn & loved. I only ask that my winner share a photo of it being modeled!
I was so giddy about this fabric when I spotted it in the shop -- I swooned as I touched the bolt, and found a red polka dot fabric to match the tiny red spot in the middle of the pinwheels. Just gorgeous. I love that it has that vintage feel.
For a chance to win, all you have to do is leave a comment telling me how you make time for your crafty aspirations! We're all busy little bees & I'd love to hear your tips for staying creative, even when there aren't enough hours in the day.
As always, this giveaway is open to everyone, no matter where you live! I'm happy to ship all around our lovely planet. The winner shall be chosen January 20th at 6pm EST.
Best of luck!

Very cute! Seems I can only make time by staying up _just_ that little bit too late. So, it's late night creating for me. OR, I put my little one on my back in the Beco and if I'm not doing something precise then I can keep up a little dance or sing while I work and she's happy as a clam!
Personally, even though I'm busy, I (try to) take one day a week internet and television free so that I can craft. Normally, I also have a little free time during the week and on weekends so I do get quite a bit done. :) But one day a week without internet and tv really helps.
It turned out wonderfully!! You are one crafty seamstress my friend:)
That is so lovely! Love the pinwheel fabric, too. You did a great job! My little stinker is too big to wear it, but I wish she could! If I do any crafting, I take advantage of it during the 2-3 hour napping period. :)
What a cute pinafore! What works for me is to schedule the time to do my crafty stuff-- I sign up for classes or mark time off in my calendar. Maybe that's a bit odd to schedule it, but it works for me :)
oh goodness, it is adorable!
i knit....in bed! it's the best time to relax and wind-down. i can chat with the hubby and watch tv and KNIT!
(i also knit in the movie theatre, but i promised the newf i wouldn't tell a big crowd, so SHHHH!)
:)
oh d. fawn, how sweet it is. i had no idea that you could sew until recently.
i do not get creative as much as i would like as matt is gone during the week and i am working full time and mothering at night.... but when i get a chance... i do some things ... make cards, draw and dream of sewing. i have to set time aside for doing my crafty things though... and find some quiet.
xoxoxox
That is so cute and would fit my daughter perfectly! Luckily she takes pretty long naps most days so that I can craft!
sadly my baby is a porker so i doubt that would fit her :[ but i either wake up super early or stay up late.
That little dress is so cute. I wish I had a sewing machine, and new how to sew. :)
i should add that i do not have a baby...only a puppy. somehow i think that darling dress would look lovely on a beautiful little girl, but may not fit my newfoundland.
