This is my favourite room in the entire house.
I love our art collection, the fawn mobile, the vintage lamp with the gold/orange shade, our vintage coffee table, cute end table, the gorgeous wood floors and the new windows.
I love Winston's little feet on the hardwood, Gretchen's toys all lined up against the wall and in her wicked baskets. I love the colour of our couch & my collection of afghans.
I love the curious babe who does laps up and down the length of the couch, seriously considering letting go & taking that first step.
I love Gretchen's portrait, and my banners, garlands & bunting. I love my little "desk" by the front hall, my vintage fawn lamp, photos of family & friends, our creamy curtains and my spider baby plant with the deer flag.
I love how calm & relaxing this part of the house can be, especially on these quiet winter days.
What's your favourite part of your home? Where do you feel the most serene & at peace?

Oh I love it. I am envious of your home but I mean envious in the best way. I would be very content if I had that home. I dont need (or want) anything huge and palatial, just warm and unique. WITH A YARD argh!
I love the spacious and brightness of it all!
You have a very warm and cozy place, its seems so relaxing :) I would say my favorite place in my house is the living room. Its the room where everything takes place when the family is together :)
What a lovely home, love your floors. My fav part of house is the porch. I love sitting there feeding Oscar and watching the kids play on the lawn. xx
My bedroom, more specifically my bed is my favourite spot in my home.
Growing up as the oldest of four my bed was the only space that was really mine.
It is so intimate and cozy. The most extreme of emotions are felt in bed, everything from sorrow to ecstacy.
That being said, comparing your home to mine is the definition of opposites! I hope to get an entire tour of your lovely home!

I'm so honored that you're all enjoying my space! Thanks for the lovely comments!
Roxanne: having a yard is a bit of a dream come true -- esp. with pets & a baby!
