It's pictures like this that make my breath catch in my chest. Where did that tiny baby from last year go? It sometimes shocks me to see her turning into a little girl.
We're stretching out the minutes & savouring every moment.
Every day, when my daughter says the words "look at me", or "Daddy", she says them in the exact same voice that she used when she was a baby. The same voice that we captured on a video of her puddle stomping. Everything else about her seems to have changed, but when she says those words, I see my baby.
