Just Like The Smell Of Rain

There's a mirror right behind my desk & sometimes I get distracted cause I can see my eyes in it just above my monitor.

Today I managed to get lots of work done, which is always nice -- it's so good to feel ultra productive, even if it's only once or twice a week that I actually manage to feel that way. Slowly but surely I think I'll get the hang of this WAHM thing.

There's also some really exciting work-related news that I'll be sharing soon. At the moment it's a little too fresh to talk about, but all in good time, mes amis.

How's that for a cliffhanger?

All I'll say is that it doesn't directly involve me, but will change my life for the better AND our collective household stress should drop significantly once everything has fallen into place.

I love this feeling, right before things change. Like a flutter, or the way you can smell rain before the drops start to fall.

Are any of you anticipating anything grand at the moment? Can you feel the flutter?

Currently I'm anticipating a big move. My husband and I have both lived in this small town of 5000 people for our whole lives and we are getting ready to move to our state capitol, which has a population of about 800,000 people. It is going to be a huge change for us. Neither of us have lived very far from our parents, so it is going to be a lot different. We are moving from the comfortable to the unfamiliar. And it is exciting. :)
