Suddenly

Yesterday I caught a glance of her in the yard and gasped.

I suddenly have a little girl.

She may not be walking, but she's speedy nonetheless.

Her hair is growing into little ringlets.

She likes to blow kisses & gives high fives.

She's got so much to say.

No! Hi! Kitty! See ya!

If I say one she continues tee-oo, fuh-ree.

She signs for milk & sometimes more.

She's got a mouthful of teeth with the tears & drool to prove it.

She likes to push mama & daddio's heads together for a kiss.

She's absolutely gorgeous & I'm completely in love.

Oh, Des, this is just so precious! (the photographs & the little girl in them). I heard little G talking away yesterday, when I was out the back, and it made me smile. :)

Isn't the growth of a child one of the most breathtakingly beautiful moments in life?

She has GORGEOUS curls!

Oh! This made my heart jump a little. I was just thinking about how quickly Gretchen is growing up. Wasn't she my baby's age like two minutes ago?

Oh gosh, I can just imagine. My best friend's daughter is almost 8-years-old and I see it all the time -- so shocking!

I normally just read quietly, following your fabulous links or admiring your talented photography, but I had to comment to this. Gretchen is so beautiful! I can relate to the twinge of love and awe that a mom feels when you catch your babies in a different light. My daughter is only 7 months old and I fear it is going by to quickly (though some days go by sooooo slow!! When will she sleep better? ) Thank you for sharing your family, and improving this SAHMs afternoon.
