Tunic Love

Since I've starting teaching myself to sew I've made tons of little items for Gretchen, but I've yet to sew anything that I can wear myself.

Does anyone have a favourite tunic/dress pattern they'd like to share?

I've always wanted to be able to sew my own clothes!! Patterns always confuse me though. :( Let me know if you discover anything simple enough!

You and I have such similar taste!
I already have her shop as a fave on etsy.
We should have a sewing party in which we could put our two noggins together and make ourselves something pretty because I just get frustrated when sewing by myself!

Oh gosh, I would love to have a sewing shindig ^_^

The more minds on a project, the better!

I'm hoping to get the point where I can sew a tunic or housedress for myself, too. That would be so sweet! No more shopping for clothes 'cause I could just whip up an outfit myself. :)

Tunics are my favorite tops to wear! I wish I had the guts to sew one. Let us know if you settle on a pattern.

I made the school house tunic by sew liberated. you can find the pattern for sale from a lot of etsy sellers. i'm not very good with patterns yet, but this was good for beginners-- very detailed and clear! if you get other suggestions, will you let us know? i'd love to try out another pattern!
